Every user who receives a hug passes on to someone in their contact and so on. Multiple chains and lots of push notifications, with a hope to reach a goal and touch lives for good. Superior architecture enabled extremely complex web of push notifications possible. The apps also had virtual goodies for the users to buy and offer more support to their preferred charities.
